The old dark floors

The whole space is lightened up immensely by switching out the dark for light. And the upkeep is a night and day difference. The only thing these floors show are crumbs which get swept up easily. The old dark floors showed any sort of water drops and never looked clean. You also have to look the matte finish on these new floors which help to hide any knicks or flaws. The floors are finished with a UV oil which not only protects the floor against sun damage but also provides a low gloss finish that is super easy to repair if any knicks happen. All you do when a knick or dent happens is rub a bit of the UV oil on the blemish and since the finish is such a low gloss you can easily hide the dent by rubbing on some of the oil. The change in the flooring is one of those things that you have to really wonder why we didn’t do sooner.
